Scratch Programming – Tuesday Afternoons

Due to COVID 19- class sizes are small (7 children) and fill up quickly!

Scratch is free programming site by MIT. Many schools use their program. We have some amazing lessons to share whether your child is a beginner or more advanced.  With this class, we want your child to be able to understand and use Scratch to learn to code and create amazing programs. This class is a blast creating games and animations like The Hungry Snake, Burger Invasion, and Robot power up and soccer. By the end of this class students will create their own game!

With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. The ability to code computer programs is an important part of literacy in today’s society. When people learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. (Scratch Website)
